Brooke Harris, M.ed, LPC-S

The hardest part of therapy is often reaching out- let's do the rest together. You are the expert of you, & my part is to strive for a space that is safe, healing & without judgment. Using a down-to-earth, compassionate approach, I work with ages 18 & up either via telehealth or in-person. My particular areas of interests include life adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQ issues, grief & loss, relationship issues, & at times comic relief. Whether you are in a tough moment or looking for personal growth, I will view your choice for therapy as sacred if you allow me to join you.
I use a form of cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, am EMDR trained & insight oriented, & implement other theoretical approaches depending on the needs of the client. My education includes Auburn University (2009) & the University of Montevallo (2011). I also provide supervision for Associate Licensed Counselors in Alabama.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, food, family, mani/pedi's, friends, pets, & cheering on the Auburn Tigers & Bham Barons. I believe helping others is not only something I was meant to do but also an incredible honor. Whether your first or tenth time in therapy, I know the leap can be daunting. Contact my office, & let's see if we can change that.
