MaryAnn Grear, MsEd, LPC, NCC
MaryAnn sees children, adolescents and families. She addresses anxiety, self-esteem, mood, grief, complex trauma, and family relational problems. MaryAnn is particularly interested in helping children and teenagers with learning or social skills issues as well as other academic challenges. She works from a person-centered approach that incorporates influences from attachment and solution-focused perspectives. Her approach is to meet the client where they are and to ensure the healing process leads to an improved quality of life and healthy development.
MaryAnn graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a degree in Psychology. She then attained her Masters of Science in Psychological Counseling and Educational Counseling from Monmouth University.
MaryAnn is originally from New York and currently loves living in Alabama with her husband, two amazing teenagers and their two Labrador retrievers, Belle and Cheyenne.
